Learning Outcome  
At the end of the lesson, students will be able to:
                        i.            Determine the vertical and horizontal distances between two given points on a straight line
                        ii.            Determine the ratio of vertical distance to horizontal distance
                       iii.            Derive the formula for the gradient of a straight line
                         iv.            Calculate the gradient of a straight line passing through two points
                         v.            Determine the relationship between the value of the gradient and the:
a)       Steepness
b)       Direction of inclination of a straight line
Learning Activities
                         i.            Teacher introduces this topic using everyday life situations.
                        ii.            Teacher asks students to identify y-intercept and x-intercept
                        iii.            Teacher draw straight line in Cartesian plane and asks students to identify the coordinate for point given
                        iv.            Teacher asks students to complete exercises given
                         v.            Teacher discusses the answers together.
