5.4 Understand and use the concept of equation of a straight line
5.5 Understand and use the concept of parallel line
Learning Outcome
At the end of the lesson, students will be able to:
                         i.            Determine the gradient and y-intercept of a straight line which equation is of the form:
a)       y=mx + c
b)       ax + by = c
                        ii.            Find the equation of a straight line which:
a)       Is parallel to the x-axis
b)       Is parallel to the y-axis
c)       Passes through a given and has a specific gradient
d)       Passes through two given points
Learning Activities   
                         i.            Teacher introduces this topic using everyday life situations.
                        ii.            Teacher asks students to find the equation of a straight line.
                        iii.            Teacher asks students to discuss with group members to fine the straight line which passes through a given point
                        iv.            Teacher asks students to complete exercises given
                        v.            Teacher discusses the answers together.

Reflections
  1. Attendance 35/38 students
  2. Not all learning outcome is achieve.
  3. Teacher explain more to students about determine the gradient and y-intercept of a straight line which equation is of the form:         y=mx + c and  ax + by = c
  4. All students discuss the answers among members in group and can answers all questions given
  5. 80% of students give full cooperation to teacher.
